Critical risks cannot be truly understood through posters, procedures and rules alone. This webinar explores how collective sensemaking helps organisations understand the conditions, pressures, constraints and adaptations shaping everyday work.

Accountability is reframed as telling the story, bringing different perspectives together to develop a richer description of risk. Drawing on New View Safety, participants will learn how the magic tiples C's (consultation, cooperation and coordination), can turn frontline knowledge into organisational assets and practical controls that work and evolve.

Conrad Wansbrough

Conrad Wansbrough is The Director of One Safe Tasmania, a free statewide workplace health and safety support service for small and medium-sized businesses which is funded by the WorkCover Board Tasmania. Conrad is an experienced safety leader and a graduate of from Griffith University Safety Science Innovation Lab, who combines expertise in safety methodologies with hands-on experience across high-risk industries including offshore oil and gas, construction, maritime operations, remote fieldwork, and major infrastructure projects. His career has taken him from frontline operational roles through to senior client-side safety leadership. Conrad communicates safety in a way that fosters authentic, empathetic, and care-based safety cultures.
