Kurt Warren

Kurt Warren is Head of HSEQ & Sustainability for Hansen Yuncken. Kurt is a highly respected safety leader with more than 25 years of experience driving health and safety excellence across some of Australia's highest-risk industries, including engineering, nuclear, aviation, defence, electrical, water, rail, and construction.

Known for his strategic and business-focused approach, Kurt has led health and safety functions within complex organisations and diverse operating environments, consistently delivering strong safety outcomes while supporting broader business performance.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the profession, Kurt was awarded the Australian Institute of Health & Safety's OHS Leader of the Year in 2025.

Kurt currently serves as Head of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Sustainability at Hansen Yuncken. He is also Chair of the Advisory Board for the University of Newcastle's Centre for Construction Safety & Well-being, a Non-Executive Director of the Touched by Christopher Foundation, and a Committee Member for the NSW Branch of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety.
