The second step is to develop a plan with your workers.

An effective plan will:

  • identify specific and achievable actions with a clear timeframe
  • identify the physical, human and financial resources you will need
  • identify everyone’s roles and responsibilities in implementing the plan
  • include strategies for:
    • communicating the plan with your workers
    • monitoring and measuring the success of actions taken
    • overcoming any barriers in implementing the plan.
