Managing the risk of fatigue at work

The code of practice for Managing the risk of fatigue at work:

  • provides practical guidance on how to eliminate or minimise the risk of fatigue at work so far as is reasonably practicable.
  • promotes safer work systems by integrating fatigue management into broader WHS processes, consultation, and continuous improvement.
  • covers a range of hazards broadly grouped as, work hours, tasks, equipment, environment and individual vulnerability
  • covers associated health implications, fatigue-related incidents and hazardous manual tasks
