Agriculture is one of the 5 industry groupings identified as being a national priority for prevention activities in the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy.
This program aims to reduce farm-related death, injury and disease and improve the health and safety of workers in the farming industry.
It is a joint initiative of WorkSafe Tasmania and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and the Environment.
