The code of practice for Abrasive blasting:
- provides practical guidance on how to manage health and safety risks associated with abrasive blasting; and how to achieve the standards required under the work health and safety laws
- applies to all workplaces where abrasive blasting is carried out and anyone involved in these activities
- covers specific hazards and control measures for abrasive blasting, such as dust, waste disposal, and equipment
- covers associated hazards such as noise, heat and vibration.
