Asbestos

Removal quantities

For an amount less than 10 square metres of non-friable asbestos, you do not need an asbestos removalist licence to remove. The removal must be done in accordance with the code of practice How to Safely Remove Asbestos (CP113).

An amount of non-friable asbestos over 10 square metres and asbestos identified as friable can only be removed by a licensed asbestos removalist.
